Week beginning 10th December 2018

In English, we have been finishing and editing our myths. We have enjoyed typing these on the laptops and were very reflective, improving our vocabulary and adding adverbials for cohesion.

In Maths we have concluded our work on Statistics and moved on to Position and Direction. We have learnt some new vocabulary: translation, vector, reflection and congruent. We liked studying and mastering these.

At the beginning of the week, we set up an experiment to investigate which type of milk goes off the quickest. We have excelled at using ph indicator paper to monitor this, however we have not seen enough change in these measurements to come to a conclusion. Being reflective scientists, we have decided to leave these over the weekend to see if there is a greater difference between them on Monday.

On Thursday afternoon, we enjoyed meeting our buddies in Reception. We loved sharing stories with them and are looking forward to spending time with them again soon.
