Week beginning 4th February 2019
What a wonderful week of learning we have had! As mathematicans, we have been using bar models to help us compare, order and add fractions with different denominators. The children have been very resilient, aspirational and reflective with this and are beginning to master the tricky sums!
In English, we focused on the thoughts and feelings of the main characters as our book concluded. We acted out some key scenes and we excelled at showing our characters' emotions through our body language and facial expressions.
We also created story maps for our class text, 'There's a Boy in the Girls' Bathroom', to help us plan our own stories next week.
In the afternoons, we have been continuing to create our stop motion projects and practising for our 'Stargazers' assembly. We hope you enjoyed it!
