Week beginning 3rd December 2018
What an exciting start to the week we had! Father Christmas had visited the school, leaving a letter for us to respond to. We were very persuasive in our replies and look forward to seeing if our wishes come true!
This week in English we have continued to write our myths involving the characters we created. We have focused on making our writing cohesive and using lots of rich descriptive language.
In Maths we have been completing, reading and interpreting tables and line graphs.
During our Topic sessions we have been busy making our 'coke' volcanoes erupt, we were a bit disappointed as they didn't fizz up as much as we hope!
We have been busy perfecting our song for the Christmas Fayre and very much hope to see you there.
Finally, as the children have worked so hard this term, we will not be handing out anymore homework until next term. We hope you and your families welcome this break and enjoy the opportunity to embrace the festivities!
